I met up Jenison Christian Church when they were in the process of rebranding (great timing!). During a discussion with their pastor he had mentioned that it wasn’t as important for there to be a cross in their logo as it was for there to be a cross in their hearts. So, I ran with that concept and drafted the logomark you see here that symbolizes a cross being wrapped inside a heart. They also requested that the emphasis should be placed more on Christian than on Jenison (the city name).
